Off Bay Road South Hamilton, MA 01982 p: 978.468.4433 This is the only course in the U.S. to have been listed by "GOLF Magazine" as having two of this country's top 100 signature holes. These two famous signature holes are #4 and #9. This club has also been listed by the USGA as being one of the first 100 clubs established in the U.S., as well as being named to "GOLF Magazine's" 1995 list of the "First 100 Clubs in America." The 1898, 1901, 1905, and 1908 U.S. Opens were played here. The winners were Fred Herd, Willie Anderson (twice) and Fred McLeod. "Golf Digest" rated this as the 6th "Best in State" course for 1995-96, and 8th best in 1997-98. In addition "GOLFWEEK" rated it 96th among "America's 100 Best Classical Courses" in 1997, 67th in 1998 and 53rd in 1999. "GOLF Magazine" also selected it 80th among the "Top 100 Courses in the U.S." for 1999. |
