This is a links-style course that was cut through the high Sonoran desert. Cacti, desert vegetation and wildlife abound. The course is visually stimulating with undulating greens and unobstructed fairways. The signature hole is #13, a 180-yard, par 3, which plays from a tee that is elevated about fifty feet. The green is protected by a duo of bunkers short of the putting surface and desert sand to the rear.
