This course was built on rolling terrain, so you can expect many uneven lies. This traditional club once hosted the Eastern PGA in the 1950's. Notable winners of the Eastern Invitational include Sam Snead, Arnold Palmer, Bob Taski, and Tommy Bolt. "Golf Digest" rated this course as the 8th "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996. In 2004, "Golf Digest" rated the Mount as a "4-Star" course. There are water hazards that come into play on a few holes and the greens are fast in season. Senior and junior discounts are only available on weekdays. Reduced twighlight rates are available.
