This somewhat open course features many dogleg fairways. The course was built on predominantly flat terrain, but there are a couple of hills that can cause uneven lies. Furthermore, water hazards come into play on a few occasions. The club hosted the Kemper Open qualifier from 1986 though 1991, and later hosted one of the 1994 U.S. Open qualifiers. Carts are mandatory until 2 PM on weekends.
