Moberly Lake Park Dr Moberly Lake, BC V0C 1J0 Canada p: 250.788.3880 This scenic course runs up and then back down a mountain, which overlooks Moberley Lake. Needless to say, walking the layout is extremely difficult. As a result, their tee time booking policy is quite unique. If you want to ride, and most people do, they can only approximate your tee time. Elevation changes are frequent and flat lies are rarely seen except on holes #5 and #6. The greens are rolling, so don't be fooled when reading a break. As is the case with most mountain courses, every shot breaks away from the mountain. The signature hole is #3, a 483-yard, par 5, requiring a tee shot from a very highly elevated tee down to a dogleg right fairway. If you try to cut the corner and miss, you'll find yourself in big trouble in the bush. At one time there was a sign posted that read, "You've gone too far, you're in Bear Country." The entire hole plays downhill to a green protected by a creek that flows in front. |
