This course was built on flat terrain. The fairways are wide and some are tree lined. Water hazards come into play on six holes, and sand bunkers come into play throughout the course. The greens are large and have average speed. The signature hole is #1, a 438-yard, par 4, which has a water hazard approximately 200 yards off the tee and the green is protected by sand bunkers on all sides, making it difficult to reach the green in two shots.
