This eighteen hole course is located on rolling to hilly terrain. The greens are undulating and well maintained. The fairways are lined with majestic hardwoods. Course designer Joe Lee was led to say that the hardwoods on this course were the most beautiful he had ever seen. Despite the abundance of trees, the fairways are fairly open. The signature hole is #18, a 554-yard, par 5, which has water running down the left side of the fairway and the third shot must clear water. This is a risk/reward type of hole. Depending on their confidence level, golfers may opt to carry the water in two.
