Meadow Lakes is owned by the City of Prineville, and has quite a story behind the building of the course, which started with an ultimatum that was given to the city by the E.P.A. The result is a first class public golf course that is the envy of many private country clubs. It all begins at your arrival with bag drop and curb service. At the end of your round your clubs are cleaned. There are 100 lockers in the mens locker room and an additional 76 in the womens locker room that are available to be rented. Then there are the fully tiled individual showers available for use after your round of golf. Truly you dont find these amenities at any other public course let alone a municipal course.

This course has flat fairways and greens. There are ten lakes that come into play on all eighteen holes. This is a sophisticated water treatment facility disguised as a golf course. There is a midweek eighteen hole green fee rate available.
