Since its inception in 1922 as a non-profit corporation, Manasquan River Golf Club has developed a proud tradition, continually reinforced by the devotion of its members to the game of golf and to the sociability that the game encourages.
Uniquely located on the shores of the Manasquan River, the Club's members are privileged to enjoy the serene setting of the hills of Brielle with its magnificent views of the river and ocean below, as well as that of a golf course that never ceases to excite with its variety and challenge.
This course offers enough variety to challenge the most experienced golfer. The front nine is very hilly, and the back nine is more like a links-style course. The greens are very small and the fairways are very narrow. Water hazards that come into play on several holes. The course design includes a few dogleg fairways and is located at the edge of the Manasquan River.
