This course features beautiful scenery and is a good test of golf. Many fairways are dogleg configurations, and all are defined by a light cut of rough. The well-manicured greens vary from small to medium in size. Even though there are no water hazards on the course, solid course management is necessary for any chance at scoring a low round. Architect John Steidel redesigned one hole in 1981. There is no nine-hole rate on weekends. Soft spikes are strongly encouraged but not mandatory.
