The course is 7,100 yards long from the championship tee boxes. Jay and Carter Morrish designed the course as a challenge to the expert player though it's also playable for the average golfer. Three to five different tee boxes are available for every hole, creating a unique experience for each player. Dramatic use of bunkers, mounds and grass swales along with water and woods provide a well-rounded golf experience for everyone. The Lantana course was designed to take advantage of the spectacular terrain and heavily wooded areas of this 1,718-acre master-planned community.

"Playing Lantana is actually like playing two different courses," Jay Morrish explains. "There are wide open spaces--almost like meadows--and there are heavily wooded holes with changes in elevation. And the high flashed faces of the bunkers not only add to the beauty of the course, but they improve the playing experience."
