This course was one of the first in Vancouver and is always one of the most popular in the province. The course reopened in 1994 after being closed for sixteen months for an extensive reconstruction project led by Thomas McBroom. The design now features top-notch greens that are well protected by bunkers. The fairways possess better contouring and now rank with the province's best. Finally, the tee areas were enlarged, allowing golfers better options in playing the course. An important hold-over from the old layout are its many beautiful, fully-mature trees. These trees have become a Langara trademark and date back to the earliest days of the course. For tee times call (604) 280-1818, reservations are taken five days in advance beginning at 7 PM. All of the tees have slope and course ratings for both men and ladies.
