This facility was originally opened with sand greens in the 1960's, then converted to grass greens in the early 1990's. It has gently rolling fairways with a variety of mature trees. The greens are mostly sloped from back to front and are quite small. Water hazards come into play on two holes, but the natural terrain presents plenty of hazards on most others. The signature hole is #6, a 278-yard, par 4, with a dogleg left fairway that has a lateral water hazard. The choice you must make from the tee is whether to try a long draw and clear the water, or play it safe with a short iron and lay-up in preparation for your second shot. The landing area (should you choose the draw tee shot) is very small and if you miss you'll find yourself in either the water or trees.
