This course offers tree-lined fairways and small, fast greens. There is water that comes into play on several holes, including #16, a 529-yard, par 5, with two ponds that must be carried. The terrain is relatively flat, making the course easy to walk. Kevin Tucker designed twelve new holes, which were added in the 1980's.
