8255 Club House Way Jonesboro, GA 30236 p: 770.477.9836 Website This club has three nine hole courses that are played in three eighteen hole combinations. A balance of distance, contour, wooded roughs and water presents an enjoyable golf course for all levels of play. The Lakeside Course is the longest of the three sides and has the most traditional design. The tees and fairways are flanked by large pines which place a premium on the tee shot. The greens are slightly contoured with safe approach corridors. With the elevation change and water coming into play on five holes, this course presents a special challenge. The Hillside Course is a fun, fair design with lots of shot strategy. The smart golfer will play many tee shots with a fairway wood or long iron. Placement is the key to playing this side well. The greens are large and contoured with bunkers or water dictating a carry shot to most pins. Some of the prettiest greens complexes in Georgia are on this course. The Clubside Course is the newest design and it offers a terrific balance of golf holes. Two unreachable par 5's start and finish this course which meanders through the pines and hardwoods. The fairway contouring defines playing strategy. Depending on pin placements, most approach shots must carry some penal feature to get near the cup. |
