This natural links-style course is not wooded. However, the terrain is hilly, so you can expect many uneven lies and changes in elevation. The natural slope is what creates the difficulty on this course. The greens are large, undulating, and medium to fast in speed. Water hazards come into play on eight holes. The signature hole is #7, a 196-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot into the wind that must carry a water hazard to a green that is protected by three sand bunkers.
