The course opened for play October, 2002 and is part of the Koasati Pines Golf Resort and Casino at Coushatta, a development of the Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana. This course features a mixture of design styles and plays through the striking wetlands of south Louisiana. The rolling fairways are lined with mature pines and oaks, and play to well manicured, undulating greens. Water comes into play several times in the form of 65-acres of lakes scattered througout the course. Koasati Pines at Coushatta boasts a 12-acre practice facility and all carts are fitted with GPS yardage trackers. The course plays from 5,154 to 7,617-yards and there are six sets of tees to accommodate all skill levels.
