This course has easy access from the city. The terrain is flat and tree-lined fairways are a major feature in the design. Water hazards come into play on several holes. The greens are sloped toward the ocean, which is only about two miles away. The signature hole is #1, a 410-yard, par 4, which requires a good tee shot to the dogleg left fairway, which is lined with trees. A creek sits in front of the hole, which adds to the difficulty. The ladies hit from the same set of tees as the men.
