The course is made up of three nines, The Ocean, The Mountain, and The Lagoon. The first 18 holes opened for play in 1992. They play to 7,053 yards with a par 72. The rolling layout has brick cart paths that wind their way past undulating greens and large bunkers. Recently opened, and a real challenge for any golfer, is von HaggeÆs wonderful 9-hole Lagoon course. With water on virtually every hole, this course is less forgiving than the original 18, making the 27-hole layout one of the best in all of Mexico. The imposing clubhouse is a much photographed, handsome Spanish-style edifice overlooking the finishing holes of two of the nines. The 20,000 square foot clubhouse is a welcome sight for golfers in need of some relaxation after a challenging round. The clubhouse contains a restaurant and bar, a fully stocked pro shop, and locker rooms. The clubhouse also offers masseurs, saunas and steam baths.
