This course features gently-rolling terrain, making it ideal for walking. The narrow, tree-lined fairways provide an overall tightness of play on the front nine, while play on the back nine is more open. The ample green are subtly-sloped, offering an occasional tricky read. The signature hole is #17, a 240-yard, par 4, which is one of the most challenging in this design, offering almost 100 feet of elevation change from tee to green. A recent course renovation added mounding around the greens and deeper sand bunkers.
