6439 Hyde Grove Avenue Jacksonville, FL 32210 p: 904.786.5410 This course has tree-lined fairways on every hole, and there is water that comes into play on six holes. The Greater Jacksonville Open was played here in the 1940's. The signature hole is #6, a 151-yard, par 3, named "Hogan's Valley" because this is the hole that Ben Hogan shot an eleven on. It has a deep faced bunker to the right and water to the left. Stanley Thompson redesigned this course in the 1930's. Golfers may walk the course on weekdays only. |
