8222 Shelbyville Road Louisville, KY 40222 p: 502.425.0097 This fairly long course has many tall trees lining the fairways and a creek runs throughout the course, coming into play on several holes. The course has approximately six ponds on it, three are on hole #2. The most difficult hole is #2, a 467-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot up a narrow fairway that is well-guarded by ponds. The club has hosted the Kentucky Open Championship in 1994 and 1995. "Golf Digest" rated this as the 9th "Best in State" course for 1995-96, and 8th best for 1997-98. This club also has an executive course that is fairly simple, but is also challenging for better players. |
