1201 Park Avenue West Highland Park, IL 60035 p: 847.433.9015 Website This well-manicured course is located on Chicago's scenic north shore. It was built on flat terrain, so it's easy to walk. The small greens are fast, and the tree-lined fairways are narrow. In addition, water hazards come into play on six holes, and numerous sand bunkers have been positioned on the fairways and around the greens. The signature hole is #11, a 180-yard, par 3, featuring a narrow green surrounded by water. C. H. Alison and H. S. Colt redesigned the original holes in 1924, William B. Langford and Theodore Moreau later redesigned three holes in 1939, and Dick Nugent and Ken Killian remodeled five holes in 1977. The 6,156-yard ladies' tee also has a men's course rating of 65.4 and slope of 116. |
