This course was built into the natural terrain and has elevated tees and greens. There are several elevation changes that cause uneven lies. The fairways are contoured, and the greens are large, undulating, and firm. Water hazards in the form of man-made lakes come into play on five holes. The signature hole is #15, a 417-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot to an up sloping fairway that levels off about 170 feet, then an approach shot to an island green. The 5,587-yard men's tee also has a ladies' course rating of 71.4 and a slope of 122.
