This nine hole course is considered "the most scenic golf course in the North." The course is set in the heart of Haileybury's rolling hills and at the base of Lake Timiskaming. This relatively short, hilly course is tricky and offers many challenges, so don't let the size of the course fool you. The semi tree-lined fairways are wide, but the greens are small, have medium speed and are undulating. Water, in the form of lakes and streams, comes into play on most of the holes. The signature hole is #15, a 485-yard, par 5, requiring a fade shot from the tee to the flat fairway. Water hazards and the saddle green make precision a must on this hole. There are additional sets of tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round.
