This course has elevated tees, and its large greens are fast. In addition, there are numerous trees that can alter your shots. The extremely well-bunkered greens are medium-sized and undulating. Water comes into play on holes #5, a 198-yard, par 3, which has a pond along the left side of the hole, and #18, a 434-yard, par 4, with a pond sitting along the right edge of the fairway. "Golf Digest" rated the course 58th among the "Top 75 Public Courses" in 1990. The 5,578-yard men's tee also has a ladies' course rating of 75.6 and a slope of 133.
