3908 Richardson Road Independence, KY 41051 p: 606.371.3200 This club has three eighteen hole courses. The most difficult is the Fox Run Course. "Golf Digest" rated this course as the 3rd "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996, and chose it as the 9th "Best in State" course for 1997-98. It was built on rolling terrain and has water coming into play on hole #18, a 558-yard, par 5. The Pioneer Course is the original course and is the least difficult. The terrain is gently rolling and water comes into play on three holes. The Willow Course is the longest and tightest and was built on fairly flat terrain and has water hazards coming into play on five holes. Each course has a variety of sand bunkers. The club hosted the Kentucky State Women’s Tournament in 1993. The Kentucky State men's senior tournament was held on the Willow Course in 1995. The green fees listed for the Fox Run Course include the cart fee because carts are mandatory. |
