The Golf Club of South Carolina, located a short drive north of Columbia, is a course you would never expect to find the midlands of our state. The GCSC is made to challenge the entire spectrum of golfers. Designed by Ken Killian of Kemper Lakes fame, this challenging course has been rated one of the top 10 in all of South Carolina.

One of the aspects of this course that surprises our new members the most are the many hills that roll in and out of the haven of thick, shady hardwoods and tall pines. It's a character you won't find anywhere else in the Columbia area. The trek up and down the hilly cart paths is thrilling in itself. But it's more than 50 bunkers, the meticulously pampered greens and the shimmering 17-acre lake that makes The Golf Club of South Carolina at Crickentree the superlative challenge. This exceptional course has also been the site of the U.S. Open qualifying, the USGA Junior Tournament, Columbia's City Amateur and many tour events.
