This course was built on rolling terrain. Water hazards come into play on fifteen holes. The signature hole is #17, a downhill 179-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over water to a green protected by pot bunkers. "Golf Digest" rated this course as the 9th "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996, and 63rd among the "Top 75 Public Courses" for 1990. There is a special green fee rate, which starts after 1 PM, on the weekends and includes a cart.
