North Marion Street Gearhart, OR 97138 p: 503.738.3538 This old-fashioned course was built only three blocks from the Pacific Ocean. "GOLF Magazine" recognized it in their 1995 list of "The First 100 Clubs in America. The fairways are wide open, but lined by Ocean pine trees, and the ocean breeze often affects your shots. The greens are small and generally level. The main hazards are the old-style Scottish bunkers with hanging lips. As a general rule, the ladies play from the same tees as the men, with the exception of the three par 5's in which they are given a slight advantage in length. |
