This narrow course was built in a wooded area. However, it is a good course for learning the fundamentals of golf. Water hazards (three creeks and a pond) come into play on four holes. The greens are large and well manicured. There are only two holes that have sand bunkers on them. The fairways were built on rolling terrain. The signature hole is #5, a par 4, requiring an approach shot over water to a triple-tiered green. The ladies tee off from the same set of tees as the men.
