Designed by Toronto golf architect Rene Muylaert and opened in 1982, Emerald Hills Golf Club is one of the toughest and most beautiful tests of golf in Ontario. Carved out of the dense woods of the picturesque Oak Ridges Moraine, Emerald Hills shares the traits of many North American championship layouts: tree-lined fairways that demand accuracy off the tee, immaculate bentgrass greens and strategic holes designed to test a player's mental game. Emerald Hills played host twice to the LPGA Tour's Nations' Cup event between Canada and the U.S. on July 5 and 6, 1999 and on July 3 and 4, 2000.
