Echo Lake Country Club was formed when the Cranford Golf Club and the Westfiedl Golf Club merged together to create what is today Echo Lack Country Club. The clubhouse, built in 1899, sits high on a bluff overlooking Echo Lake Park. This Donald Ross course has been known as the Hidden Gem of New Jersey.

This course has tree-lined fairways on the front nine and open fairways on the back nine. There is water that comes into play on three holes. The signature hole is #16, requiring a tee shot to a dog leg left fairway that plays downhill to a tight green. Many of the greens are sloped and elevated.
