This scenic course, built near Ford Lake, affords many dramatic views of the surrounding countryside. In addition, water hazards come into play on several holes. Overall, the terrain is hilly, and the speed of the greens varies from medium to fast, depending on the seasonal weather conditions. This course was previously called Huron Golf Club, but changed its name to Eagle Crest Golf Club. The course is owned by Eastern Michigan University, whose team nickname was changed from the Hurons to the Eagles.
