The course was built on 350 acres of natural beauty and weaves in and out of what once was farmland and forest areas, then again returning to wide-open fairways. "GOLFWEEK" chose this course as 5th in the category of "America's 100 Best Modern Courses" for 1997, 7th for 1998 and 6th for 1999. "GOLF Magazine" awarded it 41st among the "Top 100 Courses in the U.S." for 1995, 46th in 1997 and 59th in 1999. Resident and non-resident memberships are kept at a minimum. Due to the private nature of the club, no fees are available. The dress code states that women are allowed to wear Bermuda shorts but men must wear trousers. |
