17911 Hamilton Road Detroit, MI 48203 p: 313.345.4400 This club has two regulation eighteen hole courses. The North Course is more difficult due to its length and undulation. The greens are small and fast, and the fairways are wide open and defined by a thick cut of rough. "Golf Digest" rated this as the 11th "Best in State" course for 1995-96, and 14th best in 1997-98. The 6,249-yard ladies' tee on the North Course also has a men's course rating of 70.6 and a slope of 129. The South Course has wider fairways and is less bunkered than the North Course. Water hazards only come into play once on each course. The green fees are more expensive for the North Course because the club considers it their championship course. |
