10040 E Happy Valley Rd Scottsdale, AZ 85255 p: 480.585.8521 This desert target course has large sand bunkers and extremely hazardous desert terrain lining its fairways. The greens are large and undulating. In addition to this spectacular course, there is a putting course that was designed by Gary Panks in 1986. This is a private club where no reciprocal play is accepted. In fact, it's bee told that even famous touring pros have been turned away at the gate. The course was the site of the first PGA Skins Tournament. "Golf Digest" rated this as the 98th best out of "America's 100 Greatest Courses" for 1995 and 1996. The same publication also chose it as the 5th "Best in State" course for 1995-96, and 6th in 1997-98. "GOLFWEEK" selected it 55th in its category of "America's 100 Best Modern Courses" for 1997, and 81st for 1998. |
