This is a somewhat wide open course, but there is a defined cut of rough bordering the fairways. This course's greens are somewhat sloped and their speeds are determined by seasonal weather conditions. There are plenty of sand bunkers and water hazards to make this course a challenge for any skill level. Many of the fairways are lined with pine, palm, and oak trees. Architect Brian Silva will redesign the course in 2004, during which time it will be closed for several months.
