Dauphin Highlands is an upscale - yet affordable - public golf course built on the gently rolling hills overlooking the Susquehanna River just east of Harrisburg .
Given a "Four Star" rating by Golf Digest magazine, Dauphin Highlands was designed by William Love of Ault, Clark and Associates, Ltd. Of Kensington, Maryland and opened for play on September 1, 1995 .
The course features a spacious practice facility which includes a large driving range with four target greens. Dauphin Highlands sports large, undulating greens, multiple tees on every hole, Bent Grass fairways, and 100-foot elevation changes on each nine. Many holes wind through mature strands of trees, some offer the challenge of sand and water, while others are framed with wildflowers that change with the season.
