6250 Club House Drive South East Salem, OR 97306 p: 503.363.4653 This is a somewhat open course, but the thick rough can make a round difficult for the errant golfer. Water hazards come into play on fourteen holes. There are more trees on the front nine than on the back nine, because the back nine was designed more like a Scottish-links course. The signature hole is #5, a 417-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot over wetlands, then an approach shot over a creek to a somewhat sloped green. "Golf Digest" rated it as the 15th "Best in State" course for 1997-98. Friday is included in the weekend green fee rate. |
