This course opened an additional nine holes in August, 1996, and the island green on hole #17, a 164-yard, par 3, is the highlight of the new addition. The new nine plays completely different than the other holes, which had no water or sand bunkers coming into play and average-sized, slightly-sloped greens. The newly opened holes have water coming into play on four holes, and large, undulating greens. The trees that were planted in 1994 are slowly beginning to mature, but not enough to pose any real trouble, however, there is a defined cut of rough lining all the fairways.
