This course originally opened with nine holes before an additional nine was added in 1994, which resulted in two different personalities. The front nine features undulating fairways and elevated greens, while the back nine is desert-style with many waste bunkers. Additionally, there are two holes, #10 and #12, with large lakes and dogleg fairways. Water from ponds and a creek comes into play on seven of the eighteen holes.
