This scenic course, which is located in a valley on the banks of the Saguenay River, is surrounded by mountains. If your lucky enough to play this course in the spring the view of the snow-capped mountains is beautiful. The river has a fjord that has been cut so deeply into the face of the land that it has the appearance of being the face of a mountain. There are two elevators on the course taking the walking player from #12 hole to #13, and one at #18 that goes up to the clubhouse. The natural rolling terrain and pine foliage was preserved during the construction of the course. The signature hole is #3, a long 230-yard, par 3, offering a panoramic view from the elevated tee box of the river and fjord, the mountains, and the village of Chicoutimi-Nord across the river. Water comes into play on six of the eighteen holes. The yardage shown is an estimate provided by the course personnel. There are no slope ratings for the men's and ladies' tees.
