65 Rue Berard Boischatel, QC G0A 1H0 Canada p: 418.822.0331 This golf club, which was founded in 1874 and has been located in Boischatel since 1925, is one of the oldest golf clubs in America. There are two eighteen hole courses, the Royal, a Willie Park, Jr. design that is true to the traditional courses built during that era. It was the site of international competitions such as the Labatt Open won by Billy Casper in 1965 and the Labatt International won by Lee Trevino in 1983. The Quebec Course, designed by Howard Watson in 1966, is slightly shorter than the Royal but is considered as being more challenging with numerous water hazards, including the small Ferry River. |
