673 Rg Des Dumas N Ormstown, QC J0S 1K0 Canada p: 450.829.2061 This facility is owned and operated by the Dumas family. It originally opened as a nine hole course before John Dumas designed and built an additional nine holes in 1980. The course is located on rather flat land in a farming community, and situated amongst apple orchards. There are ample challenges from the small Chauteguay River that flows through the course and affects play on thirteen holes. Additionally, the heavy population of fir and spruce trees lining the fairways require straight shots. The sloped greens are medium-sized and fairly slow. The longest and most difficult hole is #15, a 535-yard, par 5, with a dogleg right fairway that veers more than ninety degrees. It could almost be described as a "V" shape. There are dense trees on both sides of the fairway, out-of-bounds to the left and your approach shot must cross the river to an elevated green with an figure-eight shape. Twilight rates are available after 2 PM. Each Thursday a two-person rate is offered. The other tee is an additional ladies' tee. |
