Chemin du Golf Rouyn Noranda, QC J9X 5B1 Canada p: 819.797.3311 This course is one of the oldest in Northern Quebec. It is located next to an old copper mine that is now inactive, however, the smelting process is still operational. There are many hills and gullies on the course so uneven lies are common. The undulating greens are large and some are tiered. There is a heavy population of mature trees throughout the course. A particularly unique hole is #4, a 445-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot from an elevated tee onto a fairway with a lake on its right and four gullies in its middle, so you either play around or out of them. The green is 125 feet long and quite narrow with a bunker at its rear. Another interesting hole is #8, a 142-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot from an elevated tee over a large gully with a creek at its bottom. The elevated green is protected by bunkers and trees. |
