This course offers a wide variety of terrain that will challenge golfers of all abilities. Numerous sand bunkers and water hazards are constant obstacles throughout the layout, as are dogleg fairways, trees and windy conditions. The greens measure 145,000 square feet and, therefore, offer expansive landing areas. This is good for non-advanced players who may have accuracy troubles, however, the green sizes also create many unfortunate three-putt opportunities. One unique characteristic about the terrain, which makes it different from any other course in Quebec, is the fact that there is an out-of-bounds area that runs along the left side of holes #11, 12 and 13, which is so far out of bounds that it actually goes out of the country and into the United States.
