200 Apple Blossom Way Oxford, AL 36203 p: 256.831.7222 Midway between Atlanta and Birmingham, Cider Ridge Golf Club is a mountain style course designed by architect Bill Bergen, and located in an area once home to an apple orchard. The fairways are tightly tree lined, and demand accurate shot making. The first five holes are relatively flat, but the remainder are quite hilly, and follow the natural contours at the base of Cheha Mountain. The greens are large, undulating, and speedy – measuring 9.5 – 11.5 on the stimp meter. Water comes into play on at least nine holes. Cider Ridge plays from 5,186 to 6,949-yards and there are four sets of tees making Cider Ridge suitable for all handicaps. For additional information call (256) 831-7222. |
