Located mid-way between Fort Wayne and Chicago, Chesapeake Run Golf Course opened for play August 2001. This 18-hole championship track, designed by owner Scott Roudebush and architect Ron Kern, is a mix of parkland, links, meadowland holes. The front nine is heavily tree-lined and hilly, with raised tees and water coming into play on three holes. The back nine is more open and reminiscent of meadow or linksland. The fairways are a good mix of both flat and rolling terrain, and the large, undulating greens roll quite fast. Chesapeake Run plays from 5,075 to 6,405-yards, and there are three sets of tees to challenge a variety of handicaps. For additional information call (219) 896-2424.
