This course features natural grasslands and marshes. The front nine wanders through a prairie setting and the back nine weaves across lowlands. The finishing hole is considered one of the toughest around. It's a 547-yard, par 5, which plays around a marsh with fairway bunkers creating a narrow landing area. Club selection and shot control are the key to scoring well on this hole. "Golf Digest" selected this course 4th on its list of "Best New Affordable Public Courses" for 1998.
